I'm not sure whether I'm allowed to be pissed off about this....

JMW Turner, "The Deluge", 1805

Jacques de Beaufort, "Nous Sommes Ravenous", 2004

Dexter Dalwood, "Deluge", 2006

I dunno...vote for your favorite version or something..

looking at this now it's clear to anyone that Dexter Dalwood can't paint for shit...well..he's a good pop artist...not that I;'m Turner..but c'mon

I'ts more than cute and paste.

If I ever see that guy I'm going to demand $10,000 from the $50,000 grand he probably made off of that wreck of a stolen idea.

And then I'm going to kick him in the nuts when he says no.

Dalwood should stop wasting his time with painting. There are way too many shitty painters as it is without him adding his two cents. Obviously he doesn't care about the process and his concept doesn't rely on the medium. Maybe he should just stick to collage.

I like his Ophelia bit, it's clever.
But, painting can only go so far on a clever idea.
Clever ideas are more articulately explored in writing. The medium should reinforce the concept.

Actually, his work would be best suited as a graffiti mural.
