thesecretlivesofcats said...: Here in San Pedro there was this strange split in the sky. To my right is the end of the penninsula and I thought, "Gee what a nice day in this little beachy town." To my left is everything north of SP. That looked like the Sigur Ros video where the kids go out to recess in gas masks.; 3:48 PM

thesecretlivesofcats said...: I wish I could say I'm here for dolphin therapy. Usual stuff... creative-type/part-time educator/neophyte blog-commenter. I know that's vague but maybe you're asking, "Why Pedro?" It's cheap and under the radar. I grew up in OC and this seemed like the next logical step up without having to be immediately trapped in the paradise that is LA proper.

thesecretlivesofcats said...: Sigor Ros can be a bit churchy. That video reminded me of an old psa. There's an adult and a child wearing gas masks in the desert: "Daddy what's that?" "It's a tree...we had those long ago." :{
